Last week, REN, in collaboration with Energiföretagen, showcased Grøft Design® at Elfack in Gothenburg, one of the largest exhibitions in Northern Europe for energy and electrification. There was a steady stream of participants who visited our stand to learn more about cable project planning. In Norway, Grøft Design® has made it easier to design complex cable trenches. After Energiföretagen adapted Grøft Design® to Swedish standards, there has been great interest in the program in Sweden.

Grøft Design® also received valuable support from OPI. They have been showcasing their concrete channel product at Elfack for almost 30 years. Being able to make accurate calculations of cable ampacity and magnetic fields for such installations is of great value.

There is significant activity in the industry, and Elfack reflects this. It was beneficial for REN to showcase Grøft Design® and share experiences about how the industry operates in the Nordic region.
